Mad River Valley Rotary has selected Charlie Hosford as the club's 2013 Rotary Person of the Year. The club annually selects a person whose service to the Mad River Valley has been exemplary.
Hosford's over three decades of service to his community is testimony to the fact that he richly deserves this honor, local Rotarians noted.
Hosford will be honored this week at The Common Man restaurant in Warren on May 8 at 6 p.m. for cocktails and 7 p.m. for dinner. Anyone who wishes to attend this event is welcome. Reserve a spot by calling Al Barillaro at 496-7112 or Jim Leyton at 793-2900. The cost of the dinner is $41 and is payable to Mad River Valley Rotary, P.O. Box 267, Waitsfield, VT 05673 or dropped off at Eastern Systems or Edward Jones offices.
