On Saturday, March 16, a group of Valley women, plus their friends and families, participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life-Nordic Style at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. Team Snowbells, comprised of 34 members, spent the night skiing and hiking the torch-lit trails of the resort.
The Snowbelles raised over $20,595 for the American Cancer Society. This donation helps fund lifesaving cancer research and treatments. Several members of the team are cancer survivors and choose to give back by joining the Relay for Life. This is the only winter Relay for Life held in the country. Those who enjoy cross-country skiing or winter hiking are invited to join team Snowbelles next March in Stowe. Contact
