On the morning of March 14, 2013, the Vermont State Police in Middlesex received separate calls from an employee of and the principal for Harwood Union High School in Duxbury. The principal for Harwood Union High School reported that an office window was smashed out during the night hours. A short while later a second Harwood Union High School employee called to report that the school bus she drives which remains parked at her residence during off hours had a smashed windshield. The windshield was reported to have been smashed at her residence during the night hours.
