Throughout the winter Clearwater Sports and Lareau Farm Inn will be offering full moon snowshoe and dinner trips. The event features snowshoeing under the full moon, followed by dinner at Lareau Farm Inn. Participants will gather at Clearwater at 5 p.m. to meet their guides and then drive over to the inn. From there they will hit the trails with snowshoes and explore the woods behind the inn for about an hour. Participants will head back and gather in the dining room for a dinner featuring local products. After dinner it’s out to the fire ring for a fire and homemade s’mores.
Those who cannot make the full moon trips can call Clearwater Sports and arrange for a headlamp-lit nighttime snowshoe. Gather a private party of 10 or more or come join a group for this Vermont experience. Tours begin December 28 with advanced reservations required.
