Three die in Rt 100B collision
A Moretown woman and two children were killed in a minivan/propane truck collision on Route 100B in Moretown on December 8 in the afternoon. Judith Grandfield, 72, Moretown and Jasper Winters, 7 months, Jackson Winters, 2 years old, both of Moretown were killed when their southbound minivan crossed the center line and collided head on with a northbound Irving Oil propane truck driven by Justin Page, 33, Websterville.
Rt 100B was closed for 10 hours after the crash as hazardous materials were removed from the site and the Vermont State Police investigated collision. Grandfield and the Winters children were declared dead on the scene, Page was treated at CVH for his injuries. No other details are available at this time, as the crash is still under investigation.

Vermont Route 100B in Moretown was closed yesterday following a triple fatality accident.
Details of the incident are still under investigation; however, the driver and two occupants of the vehicle were all killed when it collided with a propane truck.
The driver of the propane truck was transported to Central Vermont Hospital to receive medical treatment.
The names are being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin. When more information becomes available, an update will be issued.
