Service technicians were dispatched immediately and were able to restore
some channels in a little over an hour. Unfortunately, most of the
Basic Package channels, many of which are local, were not among those
first restored. Full service was restored about four hours after the
initial failure, at 9:45 p.m.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and strive for as few outages as
possible. We continue to work hard on system improvements and adding new
