Mad River Glen held its 30th annual shareholder meeting on Saturday, April 5, and celebrated its official closing day for the 2024-25 season on Sunday, April 6. The weekend marked the end of another season for the skier-owned co-op. Highlights of the season included an early opening on Deccember 7, 248 inches of snowfall, and 113 days of ski operations. Shareholders from near and far enjoyed a day of free skiing and were updated on the past year’s accomplishments and future projections for the cooperative.
The meeting took place on the third floor of the Basebox on Saturday, with shareholders participating in person or virtually. Highlights of the meeting included the past year’s financial performance, operational updates, and future capital projects, including a pub renovation scheduled for 2026. The meeting also included a comprehensive review of the year’s operations, a look at future investments in infrastructure, and updates on ongoing initiatives aimed at preserving the area for future generations.
The meeting also featured a vote for the Board of Trustees, with two in-state seats and one out-of-state seat up for election. It wrapped up with a Q&A session, where shareholders had the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback directly to the leadership team.
Closing day at Mad River Glen was enjoyed by many skiers who took their final runs of the season on the Single and Sunnyside Double lifts, with nearly 50% of the main mountain trails still open for skiing.
Mad River Glen’s 2025-26 season passes and Stark Mountain cards are on sale now at discounted rates through April 14. After that, season passes and Stark Mountain cards won’t be available for purchase again until the fall. To enhance the Mad River Glen experience, all lift access products, including passes, Stark Mountain cards, and day tickets, are limited. These products may sell out at any time.
Following the close of the season, Stark’s Pub shuts down to reset for summer dining. This summer, Stark’s Pub will open for dinner service Wednesday through Saturday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The pub reopens for the summer season on May 21 ahead of Memorial Day weekend and will remain open through fall foliage weekends in October.
