Kingsbury Companies, Contract #4, is finishing work on Bushnell and will be heading up East Road with water transmission line work. The directional bore on East Road will be starting in the near future. More on that next week.
Munson Earth Moving, Contract #2, has completed the cross country portion of the water transmission line from North Road to the tank site. Permanent paving repairs will begin on Tremblay Road next week. Directional boring operations will be starting along Route 100 between Amerigas and Strong Road.
J. P. Sicard, Contract #1, will begin installation of the water main on Route 100 adjacent to Village Square and head north. There will be lane closures and flag men directing traffic for portions of the work so please use caution as you approach the work area. Your patience during construction will be greatly appreciated.
Municipal Project Manager Henry Erickson said that there had been some confusion as to where in town the project would be covering the cost of the connection from water main to individual properties. That cost will be covered only for properties in the original service area of Waitsfield Village and Irasville per the requirements of the loans the town has for the water project.
