The only requirements are that each photograph be at least 11 by 14
inches including mat and frame, and that they be ready to hang; no
exposed glass edges. For more information and to print out an entry
form, go online to www.theroundbarn.com/cultural. There is an entry fee,
and photographers who wish to sell their works will pay a commission of
25 percent to support the Cultural Center and defray the costs of
presenting the exhibit.
A panel of judges will present awards of excellence, and the winning
photographer will be invited to show the picture in the Art in the Round
Barn Show in September. There is an opening reception on Wednesday,
August 4, at 5:30 p.m. The exhibit runs every day from August 2 to
September 6, 2010, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
weekends (depending on special events at the Round Barn).
