"The boys stayed loose. Friday's practice was like any other; you wouldn't know we were playing for the championship the next day," said assistant coach Russ Beilke. "We were a little worried about a morning game as that's not our normal routine, but boom! We scored early in the game and then another one in the net; it was great."

The Highlanders finished up their season with an impressive 16 and 2
record led by coach Ryan Foster, Timmy Griffith and Russ Beilke. The
Highlander boys also received the Division 2 Bob Abrahamson
Sportsmanship Award during halftime at Saturday's game.
