At the April 9 meeting of the Warren Select Board, Town Administrator Cindi Hartshorn-Jones said that there was at least one area at the bottom of the Dump Road that could be added.
The more allowable connections in the service area, the lower the user fees will be if new flows are added. At their April 28 meeting, members of the planning commission discussed the current service area and mentioned that within the village borders all households could be hooked up if they chose to be.
Warren Zoning Administrator Miron Malboeuf said that the select board asked the planning commission to investigate the current service and examine whether or not other areas that could be added.
The maps used at the planning commission were current, according to Malboeuf, but do not show the zoning boundaries of Warren Village. The planning commission plans to wait for updated G.I.S. overlay maps from engineer's Forster and Aldrich.
The current septic system serves 83 households, according to Hartshorn-Jones.
The planning commission plans to investigate the current septic service area and follow up with the select board regarding possible future expansion. Their next meeting is scheduled for May 12.
