I was a member of the select board many years ago and had the privilege of serving with one of the best, in my opinion, board members -- Roland Foster. I learned a lot from him and fellow members.
For the past six to eight months I, with the help of others, have worked to get the town garage issue resolved after over 10 years of discussions. I believe the plan and location makes the most sense from a practical, financial and working point. It is my hope that the voters will support this article and have this issue resolved for the better working conditions for our road crew, equipment, storage and bring a better neighbor to the surrounding properties from an aesthetic point.
I am also interested in the spending of 2008 funds and holding a tighter line on cost. I would like to see our buildings maintained on a regular basis.
I would work to represent all with an open mind and be available for any issues I could help with.
