Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Ann Curry and Hoda Kotb spent most of the four hours playing on the snow at the base of the Super Bravo quad. They worked the live audience, interacted with fans, and did a number of segments that included everything from winter fashion, to on-snow gadgets, to running an obstacle course.
"That was hysterical," laughed Meredith Vieira after watching Ann Curry and Al Roker both blow out of one snowshoe while navigating through the obstacle course.

Musical guest Sara Bareillis, whose "Love Song" is currently the most downloaded in the country, played three songs in the Gate House Lodge.
The event was also a high point in Sugarbush history, according to Sugarbush president Win Smith.

"Aside from the new village, this is probably the biggest thing in the resort's 50 years," remarked Smith. "Having six million people around the country see Sugarbush and all of the people and offerings that make the (Mad River) Valley such a special place is invaluable. I think the broadcast showed that life really is better here."

Smith showed off a different view of The Valley and the resort to host Matt Lauer the evening before the broadcast. He and The Today Show star went on a full-moon ski Wednesday night. The adventure was highlighted in a segment that ran during the show.
