The Eastern States Cup East Coast Showdown returns to Sugarbush this summer on Saturday, July 14, and Sunday, July 15.
The mountain biking event features both enduro and downhill races with a combined cash purse of $4,000. In addition, there will be a number of product prizes from race sponsors. The top five in every class will reach the podium, while the top three will receive custom Eastern States Cup medals.
Sugarbush’s downhill terrain will be open for practice on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with registration on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 8 to 9 a.m. The enduro event will kick off at 9 a.m. and the downhill will begin around noon. Mountain bike terrain will be closed to the public on Sunday with potential partial closures on Saturday.
Camping is available for race participants Friday through Sunday in Sugarbush’s Lot F parking lot. Showers for competitors will be available at the Sugarbush Health and Recreation Center for an additional fee.
