Jimmy Krupka is the latest addition to The Valley Reporter's writing team. Currently a junior at Green Mountain Valley School (GMVS), he will contribute regularly to the newspaper's "Student of the Week" and the "Valley Viewpoint" columns.
At GMVS, Krupka is a competitive alpine ski racer striving toward his long-term goal of qualifying for the U.S. Ski Team. In between school, training and theater, he enjoys mountain biking on The Valley's trails, especially Cyclone. He is also interested in pursuing journalism and photography.
With a leading role in the GMVS musical, Krupka may provide insight into that aspect of the ski academy for The Valley Reporter. Occasionally, he may also provide reports of local high school sports games.
Originally from the Boston area, Krupka now lives at home with his parents in The Valley, along with his three younger siblings. He enjoys spending time with his family, but as all parents and older siblings know, younger kids aren't always fun.
Krupka is excited to contribute to The Valley Reporter and is eager to do his part. Look for his articles in upcoming weeks.
