To The Editor:
While traveling home from seeing my parents Friday evening, May 9, someone threw a rock into my Jeep Wrangler windshield as I was going 50 mph. It was 9:10 p.m. and it occurred just past the Ward swimming hole on Route 100B in Moretown with no other cars around. Luckily, I maintained control and pulled over. The impact was great enough to knock my interior mirror off. Dirt residue remained at the impact spot, confirming it must have been a rock or stone. Your behavior was inexcusable, reckless and potentially life-threatening. Unfortunately, those responsible will probably never read this letter.
