To The Editor:
If you have any concern about your property taxes, please do your best to attend the forum being conducted tonight, Thursday, February 13, 2014, 6:30 p.m. at the Big Picture Theater. All of the Mad River Valley school boards are dealing with the fact that rising costs are increasing dramatically with Montpelier doing practically nothing to bring some fairness to the system. This forum will help us understand how our education property tax is calculated and why the costs are escalating.
You may have some practical ideas which will be helpful. School boards, administrators, supervisory district personnel, legislators and your neighbors will be in attendance. Let's all work together to help education in our Valley.
