To The Editor:
Regarding installation of surveillance cameras at Harwood: Since each of us could be assumed to be at least a potential miscreant, it should be obvious that the only way for the authorities to truly prevent vandalism and keep us safe and free is to know where everyone is and what we are doing at all times. Anyone who has followed the recent NSA revelations or read Orwell's 1984 knows how important this is. The sooner the students at Harwood realize it, the better off they will be. After all, the school board is only doing this for their own good.
