This letter is addressed to Waitsfield Voters:
Adaptive reuse of a building for Waitsfield town offices makes common sense. Building a new, non-contributing building in our National Historic District on a productive piece of farmland does not make sense. State funding and anonymous donations have created an illusion that we should support the Farm Stand site because it is a "good deal." We should be wary of a "good deal" on a bad idea. Please help common sense and conservation values prevail by voting no to the Farm Stand site on October 22.
