To The Editor:
By a nearly unanimous vote at the 2013 Town Meeting in Waitsfield voters registered their opposition to tar sands mining and associated pipeline distribution. Town residents now have the opportunity to follow up that resolution by participating in a "No to the XL Pipeline" demonstration on Saturday, September 21. Turn out at the covered bridge that day at 10 a.m. and participate in a march up Main Street to the site of the Farmers' Market. Other Vermont communities will host demonstrations at the same time.
Let's "walk our talk." See you there.
