To The Editor:
It was my understanding that, after a great hue and cry by Valley residents, the state was going to make wider bike lanes on the section of Route 100 south of Waitsfield. Well, it appears that this is not the case. The bike lanes as painted seem to be the same as the old ones. And the paved section appears no wider than the old Route 100.
Am I missing something or did the state pull the wool over our eyes (again)!?
