To The Editor:
So much is being said about how bad business is in The Valley and how there are not enough restaurants in the area to frequent. Well, Saturday evening I attended a Farm to Table dinner at the East Warren Market that would rival any farm to table dinner I have attended in a long time. From the absolute beautiful setting to the courses chosen by the local chefs to the perfect wine pairings, there could not have been a better time had by all that attended that evening.
All our local products were transformed into the most amazing and delicious offerings. Each one was fantastic, but I think everyone was really speechless with the delectable corn pudding creation from Adam and Lorien at The Comman Man paired with an obscure grape from Hungary called Furmint. The service was professional and with 140 people attending not a glitch to be seen. All in all, I think everyone involved should be applauded and I certainly hope they will consider doing it again next year.
