To The Editor:
I’ve been wondering this for a long time and not sure who to ask. I am wondering why Moretown Town Road 24, the bridge that the town is repairing or replacing, whichever is going on there, why we are paying for this bridge work? A town road? A town road to where, the front door of the Sainsbury residence? I crossed this so-called town highway bridge only to be greeted by the Sainsburys’ dogs that immediately jumped on my car door and scratched the paint, then to be greeted by Mrs. Sainsbury who told me to get off her property. And we're paying for this?
While I'm at it, I was really saddened to discover an apple tree on our property was mowed down by the town of Fayston as they were cutting/brushhogging along Tucker Hill Road. I was admiring the beautiful apple blossoms on it just days before. It was at least eight feet in from the side of the road.
And, finally, I still think it's a total eyesore to have to look at a dirty, moldy stuffed animal curled around a mailbox as I enter or exit Waitsfield.
