Do you realize that splitting would mean 50/50…is this really true? I find it hard to believe that anyone who would write such a rude letter spends as much time as you claim here in our small community-oriented Valley! To give your opinion on the way locals hope to shop would infer that you are a local. The funny thing about the locals is that we appreciate all that Tom and Carin do! We understand that driving over the mountain every day to cook meals takes time and dedication. We understand that shopping in their store and seeing both of their happy faces most every day takes dedication. We understand that in such a small store there may not be everything we need. Lucky for us, with a special request, Tom will most likely have it for you within a few days!
As a wife and mother of two small children, I have grown to love my time at Sweet Pea. I eat lunch there at least two times a week with my daughter and buy 70 percent of our groceries there. We get personal service, Carin welcomes us always and Tom generally spends at least five minutes playing with my daughter and teaching her about different products in the store. As a pregnant and nursing mother I have been fortunate to have a “healthy mama” card that entitles us to 5 percent off all purchases; thank you for caring about the health of your customers and their children.
For all of these amazing benefits that I am awarded I am fine waiting until 10 a.m. to get my groceries and planning ahead for a Sunday closure. I would rather have Tom and Carin spend time with their boys than be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. everyday! Thank you for all that you do for my family and our community!
