At the same time another improvement which I have talked to many residents of the Mad River Valley about is the removal of the five utility poles, the one in the front of the VG and the four on Bridge Street. This congested historic area is in the process of being rebuilt and repaired (including the covered bridge). Now is the time to really make a difference and all get together in finding a way to get funding for these important projects. We all know that after the road and bridge repair are completed, and if we do not get the total job planned and done now, it will never happen.
