The stock market, large corporations, their CEOs, etc., have made millions, billions, at the expense of the rest of us, our jobs and our homes. How many of our products, entire productions, are being off-shored or sent to cheaper manufacturing sites? Have you seen the prices of many popular items, like expensive sneakers, dropped?

Manufacturing of so many things which paid our workers well are being made for pennies in China, for example, and I don't find the Dow Jones an accurate representation of our economic status. Many, many states, administrations, are seeking "job creation." Some European countries who share Free Trade with us are in the same boat. If we all got together with the same goal in mind, we could do away with Free Trade, though it'd be a bit of a battle, for sure.

To my knowledge (and I try to follow the news pretty well), the only public figure I've heard agreeing with me is Senator Bernie Sanders, and a national organization, Public Citizen, also came out with the same assessment earlier this year, in detail. It's possible that many in office fear the attacks of corporate lobbyists, but who knows?

If someone had told me years ago that I'd have this viewpoint, I'd have been blown away. Well, times have drastically changed, unfortunately, and much of the blame isn't going in the right direction.
