This case is just like the Madoff case. We all paid for regulation and
had our retirement stolen. (I have not heard of one regulator losing
their job, pension or going to jail.) Today with all the news on TV
about this terrorist, I have not heard of any American in charge of
detecting these terrorist acts being arrested or fired. The fact that
the people on the plane are alive is due to them taking charge of their
own protection. Why we allow such poor performance from government
employees right down the line is beyond me. It seems to me every candy
store in the country is run better than the government.
This terrorist won; he is hurting our economy and stealing our confidence and changing our lifestyle.
