This is not something that has happened overnight but has been a long
time in coming. We have spent the last two and a half years doing our
best to uphold and maybe even surpass the expectations that you expect
from us. We believe we have succeeded. Alas, certain things that were
put into motion years ago have come to realization. It is also a tough
time for everyone here in The Valley and around the world. We fear that
we will not be the last to lose their homes or businesses.
On a brighter note, John and I will remain here in The Valley. We still
believe in the greatness that is here, from the people to the
landscape. We look forward to watching The Valley grow and change. We
are excited that maybe new commerce will come here with the right
motivation.
John will continue to be cooking, and I will continue to bake, just in
a new venue. We cannot wait to see all of you around. We will finally
have the time to go to all the wonderful things here, such as the Arts
Festival, Opera Festival and the Valley Players. This will give us an
opportunity to finally meet so many people that we just have not had
the time to meet yet.
