We are the only western civilization that does not have such a
system and that has such a number of uninsured citizens because they
can't afford the so-called "competitive coverage" that he espouses as
the solution to all our ills. The sort of ultra-conservative thinking
Olin Potter is famous for through his oft-expressed opinions is why the
Republican party has lost a lot of us over time and has lost the
election and the confidence of the majority of our citizens.
Describing those who do not share his views as "Greenies," "Lefties"
and whatever other names that are meant to be degrading is showing
great disrespect for anyone who does not share his ultra-conservative
views and only results in diminishing the impact of what could be an
honest discussion on topics of general interest.
