And what about the white man running the Vermont Indian off the
reservation? It seems a shame that a Vermont Indian from Granville who
has paid his dues with bosses and is a blue collar worker like myself
is now subdued by a new resident while trying to build a home. Most
people come to Vermont because Vermont is quiet and free. It seems some
new residents have to get into arguments with the natives. Their nature
is to move here and run the Indians off the Vermont land so they can
run for town offices, then raise the rates and rentals, etc., for their
personal gain.
