It is my
belief we can write zoning to accommodate and support existing
businesses, the creation of new ones and workforce housing that will
enhance the economic climate of the Mad River Valley. This can be done
along the principles of sustainable living, social responsibility and
sound energy and environmental policy.
The purpose of the
petition is to encourage this dialog among town citizens and guide the
planning commission to be more creative in their zoning approach that
takes into account the challenges of the present economic environment.
The petition can be signed by January 22 at Yestermorrow, Flatbread,
Kenyon's, the Village Grocery and Small Dog. Thank you for your support
