I wrote to the enforcement division suggesting that under the circumstances a discussion with Charlie and Fred would be sufficient and that no punishment be exacted. I urge other citizens of The Valley to write to the governor or to the agency in their support. Will citizens of The Valley be willing to step forward to participate in local government when the reward for good faith action is a threat to fine? I, for one, would certainly think twice?
