The Vermont Agency of Transportation (or VTrans) is currently accepting comments on its transportation plan for Central Vermont, including the Mad River Valley. The results of the public comment period will directly affect the services that CCTA/GMTA is able to plan for and provide to Valley residents. This plan can be viewed online at www.centralvtplanning.com/Draft08_CVRTP.pdf.
I urge everyone to make their voice heard! It's important that if we want any improved or expanded service here in The Valley -- including van pools, carpools, year-round commuter service, and service for the elderly and disabled -- that as many of us are heard from as possible.
