First, I live in Warren, not Moretown. And second, the amount stolen was precisely $67,000 -- all in $100 and $50 bills -- not the "approximately $50,000" reported. This was money I needed for vehicle replacement and for health care, and it distresses me that so much time has elapsed before giving The Valley residents an opportunity to help recover this loss by being vigilant about boasting talk or unusual spending of large bills.
Though the lack of response on the part of the investigating officer to my requests for updates, in spite of my having sent him both potential leads and hard evidence that I uncovered, and his tardiness in publicizing this burglary doesn't leave me hopeful of recovering my money, I would like to offer a cash reward of 10 percent of whatever is recouped to anyone directly responsible for returning my loss to me.
