If the deputy sheriff and/or state police want to keep our roads safe from drunk drivers they would give breathalyzer tests to patrons leaving the bar, making sure they don't get behind the wheel if they are intoxicated. Why wait until the drunk driver is behind the wheel? So we can claim more DUI arrests? Chasing drunks through town at 100 mph on dark, snow-covered roads puts us all at much greater risk.
The security guard seems totally out of control. What is she doing checking IDs in the bar and chasing cars through the village? Both she and the deputy sheriff show a real lack of judgment and basic common sense. If the goal of having police patrol our streets is to enhance public safety, this way off the mark. It's time somebody spoke up.
