Whether you are a proponent or an opponent of doing this, I might suggest that you do some research on other smaller towns that have been down this same path, such as Provincetown. From an ever-increasing budget to install the system, to escalating sewer-use charges (highest in Massachusetts), and forcing people to sign on who never planned to sign on, reading your newspaper brought me an uncomfortable bit of déjà vu.
