Animals cannot speak for themselves. The ancient traditions are past and our own modern ways means controlling or exploiting animals. Animals deserve this planet along with us. Animals are so loveable and beautiful.
We should live and let live. My dogs Ranger and Lucy (both deceased) and my current dog Rowdy were and are good friends, always offering love with big wet clean kisses. Animals are like children -- loveable always.
