I saw this repeatedly along the roadways that I traveled just days after the Green Up Day. Thank God we have all the wonderful volunteers that come out every May to clean up the trash these people have thrown out. If we didn't do Green Up every year, could you imagine what our state would look like? Once again I didn't visually see the great people who did the cleaning of the roadsides. I only saw about 10 people along my travels but the Green Up bags and trash soon appeared along the road to be picked up. I want to thank all the volunteers who made it such a success again this year and especially the ones that made Fayston a pleasure to ride and walk along its roads. We need to thank all the towns and the state of Vermont for supporting Green Up every May and especially all the wonderful folks who do this spring ritual. Remember to Green Up every day of the year!
