Thankfully to be rid of those asphalt worms and bumps in the road that
have become part of our daily commute over "Duxbury Hills." I travel
the north end of Duxbury to Warren to work and as I do I forget how
important that route is to all of us. I grew up in Duxbury and as a
child I remember the old section that was replaced some 30 years ago.
It went right through the "village" of Duxbury by the old Duxbury
School. It was narrow and claimed several lives in head-on collisions.
We always appreciate improvement although complain while it is in the
process. So get ready. We should all look forward to a chance to change
our pace and enjoy the views!
