As for the title of my previous letter, "Rather Shameful," you can thank the staff of The Valley Reporter for that as I did not provide a title, and quite frankly I could care less if you are with or against me. If, as a nation, you really want your sons and daughters to be home and out of harms way, there is only one thing you can do to make that happen; ensure that, as a nation, we submit but one voice that says, "We won't back down."
Instead the adversary only sees our senseless quibbling, they see despair, they see weakness in a nation that has to cater to unnecessary sensitivities because people are too afraid they may offend somebody. Do you want to know what I say? Tough Fecal Matter! Lastly, I would like to put a shout out to my peep, Brian Redding, Happy Birthday, Devil Dog. I hope you are not in a one man fighting position up there, and although we can't be with you physically, we are there with you in spirit and tradition, S/F!
