To The Editor:

I hate wearing a mask. I can pretend not to, but I do. It’s uncomfortable and it tugs at my ears, and now that it’s summer, it’s too damn hot. And say what you may about making them stylish with an MRG logo or a Sip of Sunshine logo, they still make us all look weird. When I’m wearing a baseball cap, which I often do, the slit that remains for my eyes makes me think that I’m getting ready to rob a bank (which for the record I have no intention of doing). But I wear one for people like Kathy Mehuron and others I know who are at risk and for others I don’t know who are also at risk. It’s just the considerate thing to do.
