To The Editor:
Last night I called Brian Shupe to congratulate him on his select board seat win. I wish him and the board every success in conducting the affairs of the town. There are important issues on the horizon and I sincerely hope for the best.
To the voters of Waitsfield, I freely admit my disappointment in the results of the election but without any reservation accept your decision in this election. Further, allow me to thank you all for the privilege of serving the town's interest over the years. I hope you know I always tried to live up to the expectations of the town and to conduct myself in an informed, energetic and honest manner. I have only good wishes for the town and its citizens.
