To The Editor:
The Mad River Valley has many remarkable assets and you get to vote for one of them for state representative – Kari Dolan. I've had the pleasure of knowing Kari for many years. I’ve admired her as one of Vermont's most effective environmental advocates, a staunch defender of clean water and clear lakes. I’ve also marveled at her passion for community, from coaching youth sports in all seasons to spending long hours addressing neighbors' concerns as a Waitsfield Select Board member. I've enjoyed her company on many a backcountry ski and mountain bike adventure, where her love for the outdoors is infectious. The Valley, and Vermont, would be well served by having Kari Dolan in the Legislature, benefiting from her thoughtful approach to problem solving and her commitment to social and environmental justice. She’ll be a great seatmate to Maxine Grad, who’s been an excellent representative for her community and Vermont.
