To The Editor:
As a native Vermonter, Ed Read naturally embraces a sense of place and community. As a result, he is deeply in tune with the spirit and needs of the Mad River Valley along with Vermont. Ed’s appointment last year as a state representative follows 18 years of public service on multiple state and local boards including the Fayston Select Board. These years also included coaching youth sports.
Ed’s career in the ski resort industry, tourism and as a business owner gives him the valuable experience to lead with strength, balance and common sense. Along with his history, what I find the most compelling about Ed Read is his strong work ethic, accessibility, integrity and honesty. Ed gives to the community from the heart. Ed Read is my choice for the state Legislature. I genuinely trust his work and decisions on behalf of the Mad River Valley.
