To The Editor:
Homeopathy is one of the most widely used forms of alternative medicine on Earth but has come under scrutiny in recent years.
This Sunday, October 14, at 6 p.m., the Savoy Theater will feature “Magic Pills,” a film by Canadian homeopath Ananda More. “Magic Pills” exposes recent media campaigns against homeopathy and brings the viewer on a quest around the globe to collect evidence as to whether homeopathy works.
“Magic Pills” explores the role of homeopathy in treating HIV patients alongside anti-retrovirals in Africa; in treating cancer in India; and in prevention of leptospiridosis in Cuba. After the film, I will be leading a discussion with local/Vermont homeopaths Sallie Mack, Julian Jonas and Sandy Reider, MD, for all who want the choice and the chance to be healthy.
Ticket proceeds go to Americans for Homeopathy Choice. Purchase advance tickets at http://bit.ly/MagicPillsVT.
