To the Editor:
Though I don't usually get into public campaign discussions, it's actually a pleasure to express my support for Congressman Peter Welch in our Democratic primary on August 14.
Having been in office myself (VT House, 1991-95), I appreciate those who respect their colleagues and constituents, regardless of party affiliation. As far as I know, this is our congressman and I remember having negative opinions of those few, in the House when I was, who seemed totally disrespectful of some of our colleagues who usually disagreed with them. That is not the way to get things done!
