To The Editor:
I was really saddened to see Jim Dodd’s letter (in response to Mary Laulis’ letter) in The Valley Reporter last week. Sadly, it is full of the ridiculous, unfounded statements and hyperbole the unrelenting left is so ready to use. “The Handmaid’s Tale?” Really? The irony comes at the end when he says America’s greatest asset is that it is a level playing field for all of us, regardless of political party (among other things), “that we allow to divide us.” Jim Dodds’ rhetoric seems pretty divisive to me. So, I ask, in your own words, “Was your piece hateful propaganda disguised as an opinion piece or “the liberal left’s bullying and hatefulness?”
