To The Editor:
How sad and depressing it is that the Republican Party, the party of Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower, has put forward Donald Trump as the best they have to offer to the nation in these troubled times. And, alas, Hillary Clinton doesn’t seem to be much of a prize either. Whoever wins, we will have our own selves to thank for the results in this great land of democracy.
