To The Editor:
I would like to encourage people to contribute to the wonderful work that Deb van Dyke and friends are doing to create and spread simple, relevant, accurate and useful health information to health care workers and general populations around the world. Deb uses her years of humanitarian work in developing countries in collaboration with global health experts and filmmakers to produce videos on topics such as newborn care, childbirth, breastfeeding, cholera and Ebola.
This is one of the many groups in The Valley that are doing great service to the environment and the world. They currently have a matching grant that will expire at the end of August. Please go to their website to donate at globalhealthmedia.org. They deserve our support.
