Coach Brain Wagner made history at the Vermont State Championships; he received the Vermont State Wrestling Coaches Association's Coach of the Year Award. The reason he made history, according to Duprat, was because his father, Hubie Wagner of Middlebury, won the award several times. This is the first time in Vermont Wrestling history that father and son have won.
